Department of Food Science and Technology, Faculty of Agro-Industry and Kasetsart University Food Innovation Research and Services in Thailand (KU-FIRST) hosted “Food Safety Management Course 2025” at Department of Food Science and Technology, Faculty of Agro-Industry, AI 2 Building Room No. 2204, Kasetsart University, Bangkok, Thailand on Aug 25-27 and 29-30, 2025.
The course is conducted under the project “Human Resource Development in Agriculture and Food-related Areas through Partnership with Universities in ASEAN Region –Phase 4,” generously supported by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) of Japan.
The primary objective of this program is to deepen participants’ understanding of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) principles and auditing skills necessary for ensuring food safety. Additionally, the course provides valuable insights into the Japan Food Safety Standard (JFS), encompassing Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), and Food Safety Management System.
The course was presented by experts from Kagoshima University and Mae Fah Luang University.
